The city of Dayton gets prettier every time we look.

The Mural Machine, comprised of two local artists Tiffany Clark and Christopher "Etch" Weyrich, has done it again. This time, they used their unique style to come up with a new Dayton Inspires mural, which you can see at The Cannery Lofts on Third Street in downtown Dayton.

"We've been working with The Cannery to help get their residents more engaged with our local community and through our conversations, we decided a mural might be a nice first step," said Zack Sliver, Project Manager at Dayton Inspires.

"The Mural Machine was chosen not only because of their great artistic design, but their overall character and dedication to this city. This is their 16th mural. They are seasoned vets in this area. Also, Etch and Tiffany are awesome people," he said.

The mural was done 100% free hand. Personally, we love the quirky additions and modifications, including three-dimensional effects, gears, and a subtle nod to Dayton's "Gem City" nickname.

100% free hand. No projectors, or vinyl were harmed. Go be one of the first to get your photo taken there. Thanks to everyone who helped make this happen. I love Dayton!!! Another Day In Paradise!!!

So what's next for Dayton Inspires? The annual FriendsGiving event, held on Saturday, Nov. 19.

"We will be providing Thanksgiving dinners to local underprivileged families," Sliver said. "Our approach is to help in a way that makes it possible for these folks to prepare Thanksgiving meals in their own home. Caring for your neighbor is the only way Dayton will succeed.

If you'd like to join us, we could always use more volunteers, and the families that are receiving this sure would love to have your support."
