It’s Fried Chicken Waffle Cone Day at Lily’s on Sunday, March 15. The popular treat that makes appearances at festivals and special events will be available from noon to 8 p.m. during the Big Hoopla Family Festival, while supplies last. It will be sold outside the restaurant.
Lily's starts with a Ben and Jerry's waffle cone, fills it with creamy mashed potatoes, secret recipe local, free-range fried chicken, and tops it off with chicken gravy and green onions, according to their Facebook event.
Lily's Bistro started serving the creation as a one-time thing back at Taste of The Oregon in 2015, but people couldn't get enough of it. Since then they have brought the special back for various occasions.
“Sold right outside of our restaurant, it's the perfect food to walk and shop our great district with!” Lily’s posted to Facebook.
