There they encountered a male, Larry Parlett II, who said his friend Jeremy Pierce, 28, was upstairs and had overdosed.

Larry Parlett said Jeremy Pierce and his girlfriend Misty Parlett had been upstairs doing something when Misty screamed. Larry Parlett found Jeremy Pierce unconscious and turning blue. He poured a glass of water on his and called 911.

Pierce was revived by emergency crews but then became combative, a police report says. He had been given Narcan and then became violent. Pierce reportedly pulled an IV out of his arm and shoved a fire battalion chief, getting blood on him. Pierce admitted to be Hepatitis C positive.

At the Miami Valley Hospital ER, Pierce complained of back and shoulder pain. He reportedly told deputies he's had pain for 10 years and couldn't afford his pain pills anymore so he switched to heroin.

Pierce also allegedly made threats to a captain and his wife.

Pierce is being held in Montgomery County Jail on an assault charge.
