At least $5.3 billion is expected to be spent on St. Patrick’s Day celebrations, and three Ohio cities ranked in the top places to party for the holiday.
Akron, Cleveland and Cincinnati all ranked in the top 20 cities for St. Patrick’s Day festivities, according to a new report from WalletHub. The best cities were determined by metrics like weather, lowest price for a three-start hotel and how many Irish pubs and restaurants each place had.
The holiday is one of the booziest days of the years, according to the report. St. Patty’s Day ranked 4th for most popular drinking days, and more than 13 million pints of Guinness will be consumed worldwide on Friday.
