AAA closing Greenville office

Motor club and leisure travel organization AAA will close its Greenville office at the end of the year, according to a media release.

AAA officials said the location is closing due to a decline in area traffic. Members are increasingly accessing benefits through the organization’s website or by phone.

Greenville AAA employees have been offered positions at area offices at 6580 N. Main St. in Dayton and 1041 S. Dorset Road in Troy.

Local residents also can choose to use services at the office at 115 E. High St. in Piqua.

Members who have vacations booked through AAA Travel Agency will be contacted by their travel agent about the office location where they will be working in 2015. The office closing won’t impact members’ vacation plans, officials said.
