ALDI to host grand re-opening of Huber Heights store

A ribbon-cutting is scheduled for 9 a.m. Monday, Aug. 17 at the ALDI grocery store at 6300 Brandt Pike, which recently underwent a two-month complete makeover.

The first 100 shoppers on Monday will receive a ticket containing ALDI gift certificates of various amounts. Customers also can enter an on-site sweepstakes for a chance to win a year’s supply of ALDI produce, company officials said.

The store shut down June 21 for renovations that included reconfiguring the store’s interior, upgrading its refrigeration systems, enlarging the existing store’s sales floor and adding a fifth aisle to the four-aisle store.
