Beavercreek company named among ‘best employers in Ohio’

A non-profit research company with a Beavercreek office has been named No. 1 on a list of the “Best Employers in Ohio.”

SRC, Inc. said it has been ranked at the top on the list’s large companies category. The annual list was created by the Ohio Society for Human Resource Management State Council and Best Companies Group and is designed to “identify, recognize and honor the best places to work in Ohio, benefiting the state’s economy, workforce and businesses,” SRC said in a release.

This is the second straight year that SRC has topped the list, the company said.

“It is a great honor to again be named the best company to work for in Ohio,” Paul Tremont, SRC president, said in the company’s release. “I’m very proud of our employees because I truly believe they are what make SRC such a great place to work. They are dedicated to our mission of helping keep America safe and strong and continue to innovate to help our customers solve their toughest problems.”

The company serves Wright-Patterson Air Force Base among its customers. SRC is formerly Syracuse Research Corp., is a not-for-profit research and development company focused defense, environment and intelligence.

SRC has been recognized as a “best company to work for” in New York, Ohio, Texas and Virginia and nationally by Fortune magazine, the company said. The company employs more than 1,000 people in 15 offices in Ohio, Colorado, Maine, Maryland, New York, Texas and Virginia.
