The new store replaces the city’s previous Big Lots location at 6800 Brandt Pike.
Big Lots District Manager Beth Graham will present $1,500 to Charles Huber Elementary School as part of the grand opening celebration.
Big Lots stores typically sell merchandise for 20 to 40 percent less than discount stores and up to 70 percent below traditional retailers, company officials said.
Columbus-based Big Lots is North America’s largest broadline closeout retailer. The company operates 1,514 Big Lots stores in 48 U.S. states, three Big Lots stores in Canada, and 76 Liquidation World and LW stores in Canada.
