Bobcat Co. to open Piqua training center

The Bobcat Co. will open its first company-owned service training center at the Ruso Business Center in Piqua, according to a media release.

Bobcat, a compact construction and industrial equipment manufacturer, has leased a 5,000-square-foot former auto dealership at the center, said Tim Echemann of Piqua-based Industrial Property Brokers, who is marketing the property.

Officials said the new facility will replace Bobcat’s service training programs at Edison Community College in Piqua.

The new location primarily will instruct service trainees from the region, as well as students from a five-state area. It includes large bays for servicing equipment and space that will be converted to seminar areas, officials said.

An additional 18,000 square feet of space is available for lease at the Ruso Business Center, Echemann said. For more information, visit industrialproperty.biz or call (937) 492-4423.
