A “bomb cyclone” storm affecting the Rockies and Plains states has led to hundreds of flight cancellations across the country, including flights scheduled to and from the Dayton International Airport.

The weather phenomenon is expected to bring widespread heavy snow, with blizzard warnings in at least six states from Colorado to Minnesota.

On Wednesday, there were at least six flights canceled and several others delayed to and from the Dayton airport. Several other flights were canceled Thursday.

At the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport, there are cancellations Thursday of several flights to Denver and Minneapolis, and flights to and from Denver and Minneapolis are scheduled to be on time at the John Glenn Columbus International Airport.
