“Unless things change, I don’t see myself being able to afford to do it,” Hasenjager said last week.
Hasenjager said she retained a lawyer to block efforts by landlord Ron Keen to move her out by the end of September and win her a reprieve until her lease expires in April.
According to Hasenjager, the bistro, known for its wraps and other lunch fare, lost its location as a result of a chain of events that began after she had told the owner of the Logan Taylor Salon her pregnancy had prompted her to reassess her commitment to the business.
Now the salon — which already moved from across Main Street to just north of the bistro — is expected to replace the bistro at 155 S. Main.
Keen and salon owner Carl Hawk could not be reached for comment.
