Businesses can find out how to bid on local construction projects

Local minority-, women- and veteran-owned businesses can find out out how to land contracts on area construction projects during a Thursday breakfast event.

The Minority Business Partnership, a program of the Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce, will host the event from 7:30 to 10 a.m. at the Crowne Plaza Dayton, 33 E. Fifth St., Dayton.

Business owners can network with 15 buyers to find out how they can win construction bids. Buyers expected in attendance will represent some of the largest construction projects in the region, including DP&L, Premier Health, the University of Dayton, Wise Construction and The Gordian Group.

These project owners will share opportunities representing more than $300 million in construction and construction-related spending, according to a release from the chamber.
