The new Chappys will have 50 taps devoted to craft beers, and also will offer an expanded wine and bourbon selection, Camplin said. It will employ about 75 and will seat about 360, including more than 100 in the bar area, she said. A larger kitchen will allow for an expanded menu and catering. Plans call for offering beer dinners, wine dinners and corporate events at the new venue.
The new Chappys is expected to open in mid-to-late April, Camplin said.
Champps shut down in February 2014. Chappys’ owners had applied for a liquor license for the new location in mid-January.
