Chipotle has closed a restaurant following multiple reports of customers getting sick after eating at the location.
Chipotle told Business Insider that the chain closed a restaurant in Sterling, Va., after customers reported symptoms like vomiting, diarrhea, stomach pain, dehydration and nausea. Customers reported the incidents on iwaspoisoned.com.
Chipotle said it was aware of illnesses and had notified local health officials.
The restaurant chain’s stock dipped more than 6 percent on Tuesday after the report. This isn’t the first time Chipotle has had issues with food-related illnesses. The company was hit by multiple outbreaks of E. coli in 2015, causing hundreds of customers to get sick.
