Chipotle seeks permit for Austin Landing

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking liquor permits for a future location at Austin Landing.

The Colorado-based restaurant chain is seeking three permits – D1, D3 and D6 – for a location at Innovation Drive in the complex, according to state records.

Chipotle has not yet submitted plans for a restaurant at the site off Interstate 75 and the Austin Boulevard interchange, according to Miami Twp. officials.

Austin Landing currently has a Panera Bread, Five Guys Burgers and Fries, and BJ’s Restaurant and Brewhouse. A Dewey’s Pizza and a Firebirds Wood Fired Grill plan to open at the complex by the end of the year.

Chipotle’s requests are pending, records show.
