Clinton hospital board prefers sale to for-profit

WILMINGTON — The CMH Board of Trustees on Wednesday, March 31, expressed a strong preference that for-profit RegionalCare Hospital Partners of Brentwood, Tenn., acquire the Clinton County-owned assets of CMH Regional Health System, including Clinton Memorial Hospital.

The board’s formal recommendation will be presented to the county commissioners on Monday, April 5.

Four other organizations responded to the county’s request for proposal earlier this year: Capella Healthcare, Kettering Health Network/Health Management Associates, LifePoint Hospitals/The Christ Hospital, and TriHealth.
