Minor replaces Bob Holzapfel, a partner in the firm who will move into a new role with The Connor Group.
Minor said he was attracted to The Connor Group because of its continued growth during the economic downturn. “The success of the company obviously was a result of the people, the culture and leadership,” he said in a statement.
The Connor Group also announced several promotions in conjunction with Minor’s arrival.
Sean Foreman, who previously oversaw operations in Charlotte, Cincinnati, Dayton and Raleigh-Durham, was promoted to partner in charge of operations. Columbus regional head Shelia Conner now will oversee all of Ohio. Senior manager Cynthia Gore was promoted to partner in charge of the Raleigh-Durham market. Alex Terauds, formerly a company analyst, was promoted to director of finance.
The Connor Group was founded in 1991, and owns and operates more than $1.4 billion in assets. The company specializes in high-end luxury apartment communities, with more than 16,000 units in Atlanta, Austin, Charlotte, Cincinnati, Columbus, Dallas, Dayton and Raleigh-Durham.
