Recalls: Infant coats, chargers, bikes and more

Fur coats for kids and phone chargers are among the new recalls announced by the Consumer Product Safety Commission.

Infant Cheetah fur jackets sold at Carter’s, TJ Maxx, and other retailers are being recalled because the jacket snaps can come off.

There is one report of a child who began to choke on a snap.

They were sold in sizes 12 to 24 months and have the style numbers C2185125-CT or C218525.

There are 84 reports of hot/cold massage balls by Vivitar leaking or bursting during or after microwaving and 17 burn injuries, prompting a recall.

Don’t use the products with the following model numbers, dates, and UPC numbers:

  • F19-MB-LP/ MID# 1940918/ 681066305645
  • F19-MB-LV/ MID# 1940918/ 681066182475

FDA investigates possible link between e-cigs and seizures

Two people have been burned by overheating wireless Matco Tools chargers, prompting a recall.

Don’t use the chargers and contact Professional Tool Products at 866-496-8423 to get your money back or receive store credit.

Some power bank chargers by Spector & Co. are under recall because they may overheat.

No one has been hurt, but don’t use the T119 Elf chargers which were given away at meetings, trade shows, and conventions.

Some Salsa Warbird and Vaya bicycles are under recall because the fork legs can break and cause you to fall.

One person reported a minor injury.

Don't ride on the bikes with various item numbers and product names, which can be found by clicking here. 

Contact Quality Bicycle Products at 877-774-6208 or return the bike to the place of purchase to receive free installation of a replacement fork.

Several styles of diving masks by Ocean Reef are being recalled because the may restrict airflow.

No one has been hurt, but don’t use the recalled Neptune Space Integrated Diving Masks.

Some John Deere Snow Blower attachment kits and 52-inch brooms are under recall because they didn’t come with instructions on how to install and use them.

Don’t use the attachments with the label BLV10793 or BLV10794 for use with Compact Utility Tractors with the model 1023E, 1025R, or 2025R.
