Ohioans are leaving millions of vacation days on the table, and if we do take days off many of us can’t afford a vacation, research shows.
Nearly half of Americans do not plan to take a vacation this summer and one in four say it’s because they can’t afford it, according to a survey from Bankrate.com.
This is in addition to millions of days off we don’t utilize.
Ohioans failed to use 22 million vacation days last year, according to a survey by AAA and Project: Time Off.
News Center 7 consumer reporter Rachel Murray is talking to experts today to find out what we can do about lost vacations and how to budget for a summer getaway. Watch tonight on WHIO-TV at 5pm.
