DayMet board selects new chief executive

Vaughn P. Johnson has been named Daymet Credit Union’s chief executive, the organization said Wednesday, Jan. 6.

Johnson started with the credit union on Monday, Jan. 4, according to a company statement.

Johnson previously worked as executive vice president and chief operating officer for Lords Financial Group. While at Lords, he helped launch and eventually became president of Lords’ small-business financing subsidiary, DayMet officials said.

DayMet, which has $92 million in assets, has offices in Dayton, Moraine and Huber Heights, according to its Web site.
