Both locations will be maintained until the Dayton site is sold, Barbara Pontecorvo, the studio’s director, said Tuesday.
Classes will start at the new location on Jan. 3.
Some “serious dancers” train five days a week, Pontecorvo said. Those dancers may find themselves at both locations at times, she said.
“We had simply outgrown our beloved building in downtown Dayton,” Pontecorvo said in her release. “The new building gives us a much larger, more modern facility, and the Springboro location will let us serve more easily the booming communities in Warren, Butler and southern Montgomery counties.”
“It’s amazing space out there,” Pontecorvo said. “I’m really excited.”
The new location will feature nearly 6,000 square feet of dance space in three large studios, a waiting area, parking for more than 100 cars and more, the business said. The new studio is minutes from the Ohio 73/Interstate 75 interchange.
