Joe Cantz, the Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing discipline leader at Woolpert, was named to the American Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing Board of Directors at the annual Imaging and Geospatial Technology Forum conference last month.

Cantz, a certified GIS professional and photogrammetrist, was selected to lead the Corporate Members Council. This is the first ASPRS board appointment for the Woolpert associate, who has been a member of ASPRS since 2000.

Cantz said this council is vital to maintaining relationships and facilitating communication between corporations/service providers and ASPRS.

Cantz has been integral to several Woolpert PRS collections for multiple departments of transportation, FEMA, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and various other governmental agencies.
