Delphi Properties Management LLC sold the site — once home to a Delphi auto parts plant — to Mahle Behr for just over $6.2 million in July 2015.

According to Ohio Secretary of State records, Certa Vandalia was created in May 2017, with its listing agent as SSP Statutory Services LLC, based in Cincinnati.
In 2015, Germany-based Mahle Behr said it was going to move Delphi plant work in Vandalia to the Behr facility on Webster Street in Dayton. Early that year, Mahle signed a $727 million deal to buy the thermal business of Delphi Automotive PLC.
Greg Shackelford, Vandalia assistant city manager, said he believes the new buyer is a “re-purposer” who will seek new tenants or owners for the property.
“We are anxious to get the resource partners together to see what we can do to help,” Shackelford said. “It was a pretty significant loss for the city of roughly 300 full-time employment positions that worked in the building at one point over the last few years.”
German firm Mahle GmbH took a majority ownership stake in the Behr Group, which owned the Dayton-Webster Street plant, in 2013. The plant, once owned by Chrysler, has operated since the 1930s.
