Jackson is the CEO for the Iowa City Area Association of Realtors and replaces Andrew Sims, who in April accepted the position of CEO at the Raleigh Regional Association of Realtors.

Leverett said that they searched nationwide for a new CEO.
“There were many excellent candidates and the selection process was not easy. However, with Carlton’s impressive work at the local and national association levels, we’re positive that he will bring an exciting, fresh approach to managing our organization,” Leverett said.
“Dayton REALTORS is in a prime position to continue down a road of growth in both serving our members as well as being community advocates. My family and I are looking forward to planting roots and becoming part of the Miami Valley,” Jackson said in a statement.
He previously worked with U.S. House of Representatives and in the private sector working in business development. A native of Canandaigua, New York, Jackson graduated from St. John Fisher College with a B.A. in Political Science. He is married to his wife Kristine and they have a 6-year-old son together.
