Reached at home Wednesday, former Digital Controls CEO Michael Denny said only that the company, which had been located at 444 Alexandersville Road in Miamisburg, sold one business and merged another before winding up its business affairs. He then ended the call.
Digital Controls’ Managed Print Group on April 14 merged with Global Environmental Services of Lexington, Ky., creating a new division to be called GES Print Solutions, according to a news release. Terms were not disclosed.
Much of the rest of Digital Controls’ services business has been discontinued.
Plus Technologies, which supplies the after market for ERP software, was purchased for a “seven-figure” sum at the end of February, Visser said. It employs 15 people, has about 1,000 customers under a maintenance contract, and is now profitable, he said. It has customers in about 30 countries. Among its largest clients are Dell, Toyota and Wells Fargo.
