“We had the opportunity to re-locate from the original location, which is around 25,000 square feet, to a 15,000-square-foot location nearby,” Rebecca Rakitin, Office Depot’s communications manager, said in an email. “This made good business sense for us, and the store should open later this year.”
Rakitin did not respond to questions about how many were employed at the existing Office Depot store, but said the number of employees at the new store “should be similar to that of the existing store.”
