Emerging technology can benefit businesses

Some of the brightest spots in the Dayton region’s economy are in the area of technology.

So how can your business connect to what’s around the corner in the emerging technology landscape?

DaytonB2B will host an ongoing series of discussions called “Dynamic Dialogues” starting in August. The theme of the first conversation is “Great Expectations: Building Dayton’s New Economy.”

During the event, local business leaders will share how emerging technologies can translate into opportunities for your business.

“Speed discussion” groups will be led by industry experts. Discussions will last for 15 minutes. Following the initial discussions, join the experts for an informal networking session.

Industry leaders serving as conversation starters for the speed discussions include:

• Frank Beafore, SelectTech Geospatial

• Vic Bonneau, GE Aviation Systems

• Robert F. Chelle, University of Dayton School of Business, Crotty Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership

• Dave Gasper, PicsMatch.com

• Christina Howard, Dayton Development Coalition

• Bor Jang, WSU College of Engineering and Computer Science
