The custom jewelry retailer also has a store in Centerville.
Co-owner Sonny Singhvi said the new shop was launched because his company noticed a significant number of customers trekking from Troy, Tipp City and Piqua to shop at the Centerville location.
He also saw a void in Miami County for retailers of custom-designed jewelry, he said.
Singhvi said his business leased the Troy space in June, and Ferguson Construction of Sidney handled construction chores for the store’s interior, which is designed to look like a New York loft.
Elizabeth Diamond carries the Pandora, Divagi, Tacori and Verragio lines of jewelry.
The company, which is nearly a decade old, has continued to grow in spite of the economy, Singhvi said.
“We’re especially excited about this expansion because Troy is a community that is dedicated to helping small businesses like ours achieve success,” he said.
The Troy store will be open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays, according to a company website.
