After that, the bar, which employs four and sits near the intersection of Shiloh Springs Road and North Main Street, will operate Monday through Saturday, Pace said.
Pace said he started the bar in 1997 and sold it in 2003. When the building came back into his possession, he decided to reopen the bar. He has been working since July to remodel the building, including adding new carpet, paint, lighting, large-screen plasma televisions and bathroom interiors.
“Every inch of it has been redone,” he said.
The facility does not yet offer food, but Pace said he hopes to have a kitchen in operation as early as the fall.
The bar will be open 4 p.m. to 1 a.m. Monday through Thursday and 4 p.m to 2:30 a.m. Friday and Saturday, Pace said.
