A new Home Outlet store is now open near the Dayton Mall.
The new location at 131 N. Springboro Pike, Miami Twp., opened Tuesday and sells flooring, cabinetry, plumbing and millwork products for general consumers and professionals. The space was formerly home to T.J. Maxx.
“We are excited about the opening of the Home Outlet store in Dayton, Ohio,” said Travis Laurence, vice president of operations at E.C. Barton & Company, the employee-owned company that owns the store.
Laurence said after a lot of thoughtful research, Dayton “presented as an excellent option for the first of five new store locations in 2020.”
“Within the last year, we have opened new locations in Arkansas and Florida. We are excited to now expand upon our existing footprint here in Ohio,” he said.
Founded in 1885, the company is headquartered in Jonesboro, Arkansas and operates Barton’s Lumber, Grossman’s Bargain Outlet, Barton’s Surplus Warehouse, Barton’s Home Outlet and E.C.B. Brokerage in 17 states from upstate New York to south Texas.
