Hometown Urgent Care buys Springfield company

Columbus-based Hometown Urgent Care, which owns and operates 20 urgent care and occupational health care clinics in Ohio and Michigan, has acquired Springfield-based StepUp Rehab.

StepUp Rehab, with locations in Springfield and London, Ohio, offers physical therapy treatment for numerous injuries and conditions, including work-related and sports injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, balance issues, and neck, back, extremity, and joint pain. The clinics also offer a transition program for supervised exercise at the end of the treatment regime.

Like sister company Hometown Urgent Care, StepUp Rehab offers treatments designed to get injured workers back on the job.

Under the new ownership, StepUp Rehab will continue to offer both outpatient physical therapy and industrial rehabilitation services at the Springfield and London locations.
