Huber Heights company makes tooling acquisition

Huber Heights’ Updike Supply Co. has acquired H.D. Geisler Co., a distributor of metal stamping products and tooling components with a shop on Stanley Avenue in Dayton.

Founded in 1948, Geisler serves customers in Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky.

“We are excited to add the talents and experience of the H.D. Geisler team, as well as the product offerings of industry leading suppliers which are very complementary to Updike’s current products,” Steve Short, Updike Supply president and chief executive, said in a statement announcing the acquisition. “H.D. Geisler has developed outstanding customer relationships.”

Cindy Snyder, H.D. Geisler president, said in the same statement: “I am extremely pleased that H.D. Geisler is now part of the Updike Supply family as we share common values and culture and I am confident that Updike will continue to grow the company to new levels.”

Founded in 1968, Updike, a provider of industrial maintenance supplies, has offices on Expansion Way north of Interstate 70.
