JTM Food Group announced executive leadership changes

JTM Food Group, a Hamilton County-based food service company, has announced several executive leadership changes, including the appointment of Jack Maas as chairman of the company’s board of directors.

Maas, a co-founder and co-owner of the company with his three brothers Tony, Joe and Jerry, is currently JTM’s vice president of sales. He will step down from his day-to-day position on Jan. 1 and assume his new role as board chairman.

Brian Hofmeier, senior director of school sales, is being promoted to vice president of education sales.

Scott Bonta, general manager, is being promoted to vice president, general manager and food service sales.

Both Hofmeier and Bonta will become officers of the company.

During his 40-plus years at JTM, Maas has worked almost every job at the company, from meat cutter and counter clerk, to sanitation, truck driver, production, product designer, marketing and sales, officials said.

“I am very excited about this new director for JTM, and look forward to working closely with my brothers and the company’s outside board members to implement our strategic plan and continue our dynamic growth as a company,” Maas said.

Brothers Joe (VP of operations), Jerry (VP of business development) and Tony Maas (president and chief executive) will continue in their current roles with JTM.

Founded in 1960, JTM Food Group in Harrison has been family owned and operated since 1960. The company serves thousands of schools, restaurants, military and government organizations, and food distributors and retailers throughout North America.
