A downtown Dayton tower sold to a new owner for $1.8 million.
Property records show the Talbott Tower, at the corner of First and Ludlow streets, sold Jan. 3.
The 14-story tower was sold from Talbott Tower Associates to Talbott Tower Holding LLC, though it is not clear who is the buyer behind the LLC.
The 131 N. Ludlow St. office building has a parking garage, offices and first floor retail space. The building was built in phases, with the earliest section dating back to 1937.
A message was left with the property management group seeking more information about the new owner and any plans they might have for the building.
Another downtown tower, the 11-story Courthouse Square building, recently sold. The nearby tower was sold to Stratacache, which is a growing digital sign company based in Dayton. The CEO said he will have more information in the near future about the company’s plans.
