Kodak lays off 15 in Kettering

The Dayton Daily News has confirmed that Eastman Kodak has laid off 15 people at its commercial printing division in Kettering.

The layoffs are related to a new organizational structure announced last week, said Christopher Veronda, a company spokesman.

The new structure has five market-focused division, including Enterprise Inkjet Systems, which is based in Kettering.

Veronda said the majority of the local layoffs were in technical positions. “We are re-prioritizing R&D to focus on growth areas,” he said.

About 400 employees work at Kodak’s offices and labs at 1900 Founders Drive at the Miami Research Park in Kettering.
