LexisNexis launches media monitoring product

LexisNexis Legal and Professional, a legal research and business information firm in Miami Twp., has launched a comprehensive media aggregation, monitoring and analytics product, company officials announced Monday.

LexisNexis Newsdesk is the result of the company's acquisition of Moreover Technologies in October 2014, officials said.

LexisNexis has integrated its collection of licensed news and business information with the selection of news, open Web content, and analytical and distribution features from the Moreover Newsdesk product. These resources are now delivered through a single, easy-to-use interface that helps users quickly discover, review and disseminate information, officials said.

LexisNexis Newsdesk offers more than 4 million daily news articles, broadcast media, blogs and social media channels from more that 150 countries and in 75 languages.

“LexisNexis is already the resource for news and business information. And now, the addition of LexisNexis Newsdesk adds a vital, near real-time monitoring and analysis suite to the greater LexisNexis media intelligence and current awareness portfolio,” said Tom Ogburn, LexisNexis Global Business Insight Solutions managing director, in a statement.
