L Brands Inc., formerly known as Limited Brands, reported net sales of $786 million for the five-week period ending Oct. 5, company officials said Thursday. That represents a 1.6 percent increase from net sales of $773.6 million for the same five-week period in 2012.
The Columbus-based company reported net sales of $6.275 billion for the 35 weeks ended Oct. 5, a 5 percent increase compared to sales of $5.992 billion for the same period last year.
The company reported a comparable stores sales increase of 2 percent for the same 35-week period this year, compared to that period in 2012.
L Brands Inc. operates stores throughout southwest Ohio and a call center in Kettering.
