The 12 area facilities that earned overall five-star ratings were Dayspring of Miami Valley Health Care Center & Rehabilitation in Fairborn; Dayview Care Center Inc. in New Carlisle; Grace Brethren Village in Englewood; Grafton Oaks Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Dayton; Hospitality Home East in Xenia; Laurels of Huber Heights in Huber Heights; Lincoln Park Manor in Kettering; Livingston Care Center in Dayton; Oak Creek Terrace Inc. in Kettering; Patriot Ridge Community in Fairborn; Sanctuary at Wilmington Place in Dayton; and Trinity Community in Beavercreek.
Twelve Dayton-area nursing homes have been named among the best in the nation by U.S. News & World Report.
U.S. News awarded the “Best Nursing Home” designation to facilities that earned an overall five-star rating from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services in January 2014. The CMS is a federal agency that assesses nursing homes in three categories: health inspections, level of nurse staffing, and quality of care.
