A Miami Twp. senior living community is now under new ownership.
United Church Homes, based in Marion, bought the complex, now called Trinity Community at Miami Township, for $12.8 million, according to property records.
The three-story apartment complex at 7847 Lois Circle was previously operated by Brookdale Senior Living.
“We’re excited to welcome more than 130 residents in Miami Township to United Church Homes and the Trinity family of communities,” Rev. Kenneth Daniel, United Church Homes president and CEO, said in a statement.
The independent living community has one and two-bedroom apartments and residents can sign up for different supportive services.
United Church Homes also operates Trinity Community in Beavercreek, Patriot Ridge Community in Fairborn, and Trinity Community at Fairwood, also in Beavercreek.
About 40 people worked at the Miami Twp. complex that sold and United Church Homes it offered jobs to those employees.
United Church Homes has 74 senior living communities around the country.
