Meet the new president of Dayton Realtors

Dayton Realtors named Sham Reddy as president of the 3,000-member association, as it swore in its 2020 officers Jan. 9.

Reddy, with HER Realtors, has been a Realtor at Dayton Realtors since 1992. In 2018 he was elected as Dayton Realtors treasurer and served as the chairperson of the finance committee, and in 2019 he was president-elect and oversaw several committees and projects.

“I am looking forward to an exciting year working for the membership and helping them succeed in this real estate market,” Reddy stated during his inauguration. “We will advance our initiatives in giving back to the community through our philanthropic endeavors and volunteer efforts, and we will continue to protect home ownership issues through our legislative advocacy.”

Other board officers installed include Sharon Geier, president-elect, and Billie Duncan-Hart, treasurer. Associated with Irongate Inc., Geier has been a Realtor since 1997, and Duncan-Hart, associated with Coldwell Banker Heritage, has been a Realtor for 26 years.

Members elected or re-elected to the Board of Directors are Jennifer Moore and Kunal Patel, associated with Coldwell Banker Heritage; Jeff Owens, associated with Better Homes & Gardens Real Estate Big Hill; Joe Willen, associated with Home Experts Realty; Eric Brown, associated with EB Real Estate; Matthew Arnovitz, associated with CBRE, Inc., and Mike Romano with Thrive Mortgage.
