Miamisburg candy store offers vintage feel

A new candy store in Miamisburg will make you feel like you’ve traveled back in time.

Grandpa Joe’s Candy Shop kicks the nostalgia up a notch with its new vintage-style store at 42 South Main St. in downtown Miamisburg. This is the first location in Ohio, and the third overall.

Grandpa Joe’s was founded by Christopher Beers in Pittsburgh, and has two locations in Pennsylvania. Tiffany and Bill Kelly opened the third location with Beers back in April when a space in downtown Miamisburg became available.

The store has more than 200 bottles of specialty sodas. Flavors include everything from Coca-Cola to Flying Cauldron Butter Scotch Beer and specialty sodas that tastes like ranch dressing and buffalo sauce.

The store also offers bulk candy orders and gourmet chocolate candies. Customers can fill a box of goodies from their candy buffet for just $5.
