Miller-Valentine inks partnership with steel builder

Miller-Valentine Construction is announcing a partnership with Butler Manufacturing, a Kansas City, Mo.-based producer of engineered steel buildings.

“This relationship enables Miller-Valentine to offer a more tailored solution for clients needing new construction of pre-engineered metal buildings and conventional steel facilities,” Dayton-based Miller-Valentine said in an announcement. “The Butler building systems are a perfect solution for a variety of facilities, including industrial, manufacturing, warehousing facilities, and can provide a customized solution for virtually any end use.”

“Miller-Valentine has over fifty years of experience with concrete tilt-wall and pre-cast panels or conventional masonry for clients,” Dave Dickerson, president, Dayton market at Miller-Valentine, said in a statement. “For those wanting a metal building, the alignment with Butler provides an additional alternative to meet their facility requirements. This partnership compliments our current offerings in construction products, allowing our clients to select the best option for their business.”

With this partnership, Miller-Valentine said it will be the preferred contractor to offer this building system to clients as far north as Mercer and Union County, Clinton County to the south, Darke and Preble to the west and Union, Madison and Fayette county to the east.

Miller-Valentine Group was founded in Dayton in 1963 as a general contractor and today specializes in the construction of industrial manufacturing, warehouse and distribution facilities as well as health care facilities, multifamily, historic renovations, educational, and other projects.
