New Carlisle dealership won’t carry ‘Ford’ name

NEW CARLISLE — Clark County’s only remaining Ford Motor Company dealership will no longer carry the Ford name, but will remain in business as a auto dealership.

New Carlise Ford, 1775 South Ohio 235, will officially cease to operate as a company franchise on or about May 1, said Roosevelt Robinson, owner and president of both New Carlisle and Middletown Ford.

Middletown Ford will not be affected.

The newly-named New Carlisle Automotive will operate at the same location, offering used car sales and service, with a nearly doubled inventory of used cars.

“Our customers won’t notice too many changes other than we will no longer have the Ford franchise,” Robinson said.
