Butler Twp. motel gets new owner

A Butler Township motel property has a new owner.

A local corporation registered to a Mason man has picked up the Motel 6 site at 7130 Miller Lane for $1.66 million, according to Montgomery County property records. The buyer was 7130 Dayton Inc., registered with the state by Ankit Patel, of Mason.

A real estate listing describes the property as a 92-unit, three-story motel, recently rebranded as a Motel 6, just off (and easily visible from) Interstate 75. Revenue is up more than $100,000 from last year and continues to trend upward, the listing says.

The seller was Dayton ABVI Group LLC, and the transaction was recorded Friday.
