New president named for Southview Medical Center

A new president has been named to lead Southview Medical Center, part of the Grandview Medical Center System.

Daniel Tryon succeeds Richard Manchur, who was recently named president of Grandview Medical Center, according to a statement from parent organization Kettering Health Network.

Tryon has worked for Kettering Health Network since 2011, most recently as executive director of Kettering Health Network’s new Middletown medical complex. Prior to that he was director of Business Development and Cardiovascular Services for the Grandview Medical Center System.

“Daniel brings a wealth of experience to Southview,” stated Fred Manchur, CEO of Kettering Health Network. “He led a successful opening of our Middletown facility while developing strong partnerships in the Middletown community. While at Grandview and Southview, he worked closely with employees, the leadership team and the medical staff to grow our business and increase patient access to services.”

Kettering Health Network has eight other hospitals hospitals, 12 emergency departments, and 120 outpatient facilities serving southwest Ohio. Besides Southview, the network’s hospitals are Kettering, Grandview, Sycamore, Greene Memorial, Soin, Fort Hamilton, Troy and Kettering Behavioral Medicine.
