Nuvasive wins award for safe working practices

NuVasive, Inc. has been honored for its safe practices in the workplace.

Manpower’s South Dayton office honored NuVasive with its Safety Partner Award. The award recognizes the company for its ongoing commitment to providing a safe working environment for employees.

San Diego-headquartered NuVasive, Inc., which has a major presence in West Carrollton, produces access instruments, implantable hardware, biologics, software systems for surgical planning, navigation and imaging solutions, magnetically adjustable implant systems for spine and orthopedics, and intraoperative monitoring service offerings.

“Manpower takes workplace safety very seriously, as there is nothing more important than ensuring the safety and health of our employees,” said Tom Maher, president. “NuVasive is also a strong advocate for on-the-job safety and is adamant about providing a safe work environment. They are a true safety partner and very deserving of this award.”

Companies that win the award cannot have any citations from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration for the year being reviewed. and also must be under the industry average for the OSHA Incidence Rate.
