An Ohio brewery is canning its popular pickle beer again.
Cincinnati-based brewery Urban Artifact teamed up with Izzy’s to release its Pickle beer for the second summer in a row. The wheat beer has a sour kick to keep beer drinkers refreshed on hot summer days. The traditional Gose beer is brewed with 1,000 pounds of cucumbers, two pounds of fresh dills, 9 pounds of sea salt and more than a pound of coriander.
The alcohol content is 4.3 percent.
Urban Artifact is located in the eclectic Northside neighborhood of Cincinnati. The brewery moved into the St. Patrick’s Catholic Church facility in August of 2014, and opened its doors in April 2015. The brewery specializes in tart and “funky” beers.
“Like us, all our beers are wild. That means, in one way or the other, each and every one of our beers is brewed with locally caught wild yeast, bacteria, or mixed cultures of both,” the brewery says on its website.
