Federal regulations require health care organizations to prevent the unauthorized copying of completed or blank prescription forms; erasure or modification of prescription information; or the use of counterfeit prescription forms.
Because of these regulations, printing prescriptions often requires specialized printers with locking trays, pre-printed forms and other security processes.
Plus Technologies’ software product uses pantograph and micro-print technologies to print tamper-resistant prescriptions on plain paper, instead of pre-printed Rx media, officials said.
Plus Technologies is located at 1860 Lyons Road in Washington Twp.
