Premier Health will hold an open house for its newest urgent care location in Piqua days before the site is slated to open in early April, the health care company said.
The location, found at 280 N. Looney Road, will be Premier’s ninth urgent care site in Southwest Ohio.
The Piqua location is found within the Outpatient Care Center North Premier Health building, and it will have an open house on from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 4, Premier said in a release.
The location can be found directly off northbound Interstate 75, off exit 82. It officially opens April 6.

“The urgent care location will handle a variety of health care needs from minor illnesses such as sinus infections, earaches, allergies and pink eye to injuries such as fractured bones,” Premier said. “Providers will also be able to conduct school and sports physicals, and administer vaccinations. Diagnostic testing for the flu, pregnancy, and strep can be done on-site as well as X-rays.”
Premier Health Urgent care locations also offer occupational health services such as injury and post-accident care.
The Piqua location will be open 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. every day. Each Premier Health Urgent Care is staffed by local advanced practice providers, which are physician assistants and nurse practitioners who work under a physician.
Patients may register for an appointment time online. For more information, visit PremierUrgentCareOH.com.
Walk-in appointments will also be available through registration at self-check-in kiosks. Individuals who check-in on-site may leave to run errands while they wait for their time to arrive, and be alerted through mobile devices when their appointment is nearing.
Premier Health Urgent Care is part of Premier Health, which includes Miami Valley Hospital, Atrium Medical Center and Upper Valley Medical Center.
