White Castle adds new menu item for more healthy options

In an effort to add healthy options to the menu, White Castle will now serve black bean sliders.

The Columbus-based fast-food hamburger chain is now offering Dr. Praeger’s Black Bean Sliders, a lean slider available at all White Castle locations for 99 cents until Feb. 10. Any sized premium blend coffee is also available for 99 cents.

“At White Castle, we care about your New Year’s resolutions. That’s why we’re bringing even more power to our veggie punch. We’re excited to bring back this popular slider innovation, which was created by our talented chefs in the White Castle test kitchen,” said Jamie Richardson, vice president of White Castle.
